wa treasure hunters damn awesome i just watched epi 2 and im downloading epi 3 now. they totally got owned by the shortcut. no team got it ah. the cylinder + strange looking map = hidden picture thing.
AWESOME i was damn shocked. in the 1st epi i already said that i thought it was too easy that it was damn no kick.
actually this one was a bit harder lah but already two teams scrwed up and couldnt figure how to use the hidden picture thing either.
so i think it should get better and better slowly yah.
and i like the fact that i have to wait till monday for the next episode to come out. its more fun that way. then i can check out forums to see what other ppl are speculating (even tho theres really nothing much to speculate, at least at this stage)

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL..............
long weekend.
today econs teacher keep picking on yulin. LAWL. a few days ago all the teachers were picking on gurpreet. and thams sick today. looooooool. i wonder what happened.
yesterday lah i slept through dinner and no one woke me up and in the end i woke up at 2 am hungry. den i din eat anything until like 9+ the next day (today). anyway i completed my ns medical thingy and im pes b. not bad. i just need to get a bit more buff and fat. i bet all the obese ppl wishing they were me, getting graded for being underweight. ha eat that suckers.

rar i stayed up all night to complete splinter cell. yay and i did.
lol. the ending was so boring tho. nothing exciting about it.
anyway tomorrow/today is my ns medical checkups.

Hey i guess it has been quite long since i blogged on my phone, i'm resorting to using the t9 phone pad instead of the ever famous keyboard that probably everyone has seen me use.
So today, in the wee hours of the morning, i played splinter cell the battery mission and half of the seoul mission, but not like you'd be interested right. So anyway, i just found out the eev can actually access computers remotely. Lol i'm stupid but really the tutorial was crap it was just videos of the guy doing stuff. They din teach much there. So the eev was just like a bino to me.
Ok and then i checked the results of the matches which were some boring crap spain and some other 3 teams. Didn't bother to watch em. And since i was so inspired by the stupid splinter cell i went to ' amazon ' for books on lock picking since i thought it couldn't be that hard to learn with proper instruction. I did try out lock picking for like a while back last year in around april or may?
So i chanced upon this famous book and was deliberating purchasing it. I must say i've been more liberal with my visa spendings, having not splurged on ridiculous compulsive spending items since i bought my bass. I'm still in debt i know, so its actually quite bad that i buy rubbish like tv tuners and some other stuff online. Its something like 4 transactions this month. That's a lot considering i've only used it like 7 times since 2004. So anyway, back to the amazon thing, i say two bookszi would want and there was this super shipping crap that they offered for orders above 25 usd i think. So if i bought both, i'd be eligible! And there were easily like 5famous books on that subject. so i had to choose, then so i read the user comments, and one of them struck me because it said that that book was really good but he was regretful (is there such a word?) as he found out the book was shown online. So i went to google and true enough, there was a leaked copy, just one and in pdf, of that book that was selling for like 15 usd? So i thought, maybe there are other books available to teach poor me on how to learn this great art.
lo and behold, after searching for a really long time, i found no amazon-displayed books but only a few guides on lock picking. I did however, find various links to videos on it. So i downloaded a few. Around 700mb worth, and went to bed.
Woke up, checked out the videos, and proceeded to pick! For those who don't know, i have an easy lock, opened in 10 seconds or less by any noob with tools, and i have my medium one, which i have picked only once in my lifetime, and raked it open once too. Success rates of various friends who have tried their luck stands and around 1, max 2. So as you can see, this made in china lock had stunned most people including me.
Well after the barely insightful videos, but more informative slideshows and online guides, i managed to confidently pick that lock once. Then, it was off to germany for the first match in the round of 16. I knew that germany would win, online betting sites were giving odds of 1.6 to 1.72 for a german win, so lucrative, so i tried to get in on it. Unfortunately, sg banks don't allow for dealings with betting online sites or something, so said the faq. And it was right. And i certainly wouldn't wait for a bank transfer to go through, i wanted germany only.
And as it turns out, germany won convincingly, with me watching the match. They kinda reminded me of a decisive army, but that's what the germans were famous of anyway.
Later on, i rapidly downloaded a movie called failure to launch, about a boy whose parents hire a professional fake girlfriend to get him to move out of their parents' house and live more independently. As with all these kind of stories, you can probably guess the ending, but at least it didn't bore me. And while watching i managed to pick that lock 3 more times. Each with a duration shorter than the previous, around 3 - 5 minutes? Hehe. Now that's accomplishment.
The pro lock pickers said it takes 6 months of 2-3 hours a day of practising to be able to open 50% of all locks within 15 minutes. Well i don't have that amount of time, besides, bass is more important ain't it?
On a side note, my broadband just dialed in a few days ago to get a 58.xxx.xxx.xxx ip, and suddenly the evil 165.xxx.xxx.xxx singnet intermediate proxies are gone and rapidshare works! zomg. On irc the singnet dudes are still on 220.xxx.xxx.xxx or 219.xxx.xxx.xxx except for a few who have 58 ips like me. Hurray for that. And i dropped my guitar and instinctively stuck out my foot to prevent damage on thursday, and my foot still hurts now. But its surely in better condition than cisse's or owen's.
